St. Ambrose School is a Roman Catholic School affiliated with the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C. We are in the town of Cheverly in Prince George’s County, Maryland, just two miles from the northeast border of the District of Columbia. Cheverly is easily accessed by Rt. 50 or the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.

Class Size: Average 18 students per class
Faculty & Staff: 12 full-time teachers, 3 part-time teachers, 1 librarian, 3 teaching assistants
School Structure: Students in pre-kindergarten through 5th grade are taught in a self-contained classroom environment. They learn from one primary teacher, but rotate for "special classes" including art, library, music, physical education, and Spanish. Students in grades 6 through 8 rotate from class to class for all academic subjects and specials.
